Free Call Tonight: "10 Last Minute Income Boosting Ideas To End 2011 With A Bang!" This call is for wedding... http://t.co/Pwmy1R4Z
Follow Ciara DaykinWell Saturday is here. Hello Saturday. #dumbass tweet
Follow Simon DaykinAt least once a year, a wedding movie is released. The ultimate fairytale ending of a movie includes the classic wedding scene at the end. Hitch, 27 Dresses, Meet the Parents and American Pie are some examples. In the world of Hollywood where anything is possible and anything goes, proposals are incredibly romantic, unique, funny or just ridiculous. We thought we could highlight some of our favorites and some of the most unique!
1. With a Shoe:
Ok this one didn’t work out so well in the beginning. And a shoe doesn’t exactly scream romance. On second thought… they were Manolos!
View the proposal here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQEHtGdq1mE
2. With a Fortune Cookie
This proposal requires great skill and luck. What if she doesn’t want to eat the fortune cookie? What if she takes your fortune cookie? Nevertheless, he is awarded an A + for sentiment. There’s nothing wrong with keeping it casual yet romantic.

3. On the Street
Sandra Bullock or “Margaret” proposes to Ryan Reynolds in the middle of a busy street in New York City. Forcing your employee to marry you in order to stay in the country is probably not the most romantic proposal we’ve ever seen.
4. In Front of a Crowd:
Johnny asks June to marry him on stage in front of a crowd. Proposing is nerve racking enough… throw in a few hundred people and it will really put on the pressure. Johnny does it with confidence and poise as he just won’t take no for an answer!
5. On an Airplane
Ok, this one’s a bit cheesy. Adam Sandler serenades his proposal to his bride to be on an airplane on the way to Vegas. On the contrary, the song is definitely one of a kind as it is heart-felt and unique.
6. With a Surprise
This proposal is a personal favorite. It includes the element of surprise, it’s clever, it’s well thought out, it’s sincere and its Ben Affleck. What more is there to say? See for yourself!

1. Say something! Resorts won’t know it’s your honeymoon and won’t have time to prepare anything unless you tell them ahead of time. Benefits may include room upgrades, specials, champagne, and even chocolate covered strawberries.
*Note: Be sure to bring your wedding certificate or have a copy since many resorts need proof of marriage.
2. Wake up early. Wake up early one morning and watch the sunrise. Your honeymoon is all about doing things that are special and doing things that you don’t normally do.
3. Presents. Bring little gifts for your spouse that you can give whenever the moment arises. Anything from jewelry to a new CD will be extra special.
4. Breakfast in bed. Sleep in one morning and watch TV in bed. Indulge in your favorite breakfast such as strawberry cream waffles!
5. Walk in the moonlight. Take a walk together one night alone in the moonlight. Walk along the beach if you are going somewhere tropical. *Note: Ask you hotel where it is safe to go at night.
6. Get a couple’s massage. If this isn’t something you do on the regular, don’t be afraid to indulge and don’t worry about the cost…. after all, it is your honeymoon!

Cling, cling, cling, cling, cling! Sound familiar at weddings? Of course! Everyone wants to see the newlyweds kiss. We posted some unconventional ways to get the bride and groom to pucker up on the wedding day!
Chelsea Clinton, 30, and her fiancé Marc Mezvinsky, 32, were married this Saturday of the August long weekend. The ceremony took place at Astor Courts in the small town of Rhinebeck, New York.
The former First Daughter Chelsea wore a Vera Wang dress and later changed into another Grecian dress for the wedding reception according to PEOPLE. Chelsea and Marc rocked the dance floor and surprised the 400 guests. It was obvious that they took lessons.
Some of the celebrities who attended the wedding included, former President Bill Clinton, current Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Vernon Jordan, Terry Auliffe, Madeleine Albright, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Steve Bing and Vera Wang. It was rumored that Oprah and Tom Hanks were also invited yet they were nowhere to be seen.
According to Radar Online, Chelsea and Marc were together for five years and were childhood pals. Their wedding planner was Bryan Rafanelli of Boston.
After the wedding the newlyweds jetted off to their honeymoon at an undisclosed location. Rumor has it that guests stayed to party at the wedding until 3 a.m.! Who knew these prestigious politicians knew how to party? Famous or not, It sounds like the wedding was an absolute success shared with friends and family.
“Despite the fact that we have had interesting careers, we still consider the most important job we ever had being the parents of Chelsea.” – Bill Clinton.

Pirates of the Caribbean star, Orlando Bloom, 33, and his new wife, Miranda Kerr, 27, are back from the honeymoon in the tropics. The couple vacationed in the Caribbean for four days after the wedding. They stayed at the Viceroy hotel on the luxury island of Anguilla.
According to Radar Online, the wedding was a complete surprise to fans. News about the wedding was leaked after Kerr stated that she was not going to appear at the Australian department store David Jones.
She said: “David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together.”
Looking back at their history, the couple wed after only being engaged for a month however they have been dating since late 2007 according to PEOPLE magazine. The couple made their first public appearance back in April of 2008. Last year during Thanksgiving they spent time in Morocco vacationing.
Even celebrities want their own personal space sometimes. The couple deserves their privacy and it’s no shocker that they requested their wedding details be kept a secret. As of yet, not many wedding details have been released. -We wish them the best!

“California girls, we’re unforgettable, daisy dukes, bikinis on top. Sun-kissed skin, so hot we’ll melt your popsicle…” – Nobody said it better than Katy Perry. She sent out her save the dates which are more like “save the weeks”. Russell Brand and his lovely fiancé got engaged in India. A week long wedding ceremony in India would be truly unique and amazing. It’s a tradition in India to extend the wedding celebrations for an entire week. The cards that the couple sent out were in the shape of a henna tattooed hand with an engagement ring on it. I can imagine the celebs have a very exciting week planned for their lucky guests attending the ceremony. If you want your wedding to be spectacular and far from cookie cutter, similar to the celebrity couple, planning a Royal Indian theme wedding is a fabulous idea. Imagine rich colors, elaborate jewelry, delicious Indian food, vibrant colored flowers and intricate patterns on detailed wedding attire. Perhaps Katy will wear a traditional Sari for her rehearsal dinner or even the wedding?
Indian weddings are very sacred and traditional and include many special rituals which last a week long. My favorite ritual is one that takes place in many communities of the Hindu Religion. The sisters-in-law hide the shoes of their jija (brother-in-law) and returns them only in exchange for money. Indian wedding or not, I would sure love to part-take in this fun filled ritual! If you’re interested in more information on how to have a traditional Indian wedding visit http://weddings.iloveindia.com.

It was supposed to be a beautiful springtime outdoor wedding but when snow started falling in Calgary in May we knew the wedding would need to be moved inside. Luckily our backup plan worked out perfectly and the couple were married with a backdrop of a beautiful oak wall with lime green and brown lampshade chandeliers. The aisle was lined with green amaranthus and guests sat in gold chiavari chairs.
The bride and groom had a ton of fun taking photos with Perry Thompson Photography and returned to their room at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce which had been completely transformed into their reception. Tables had corkscrew place card holders, green napkins, chocolate brown dupioni silk table cloths and of course the gold chiavaris. You can see that chairs really do make a difference in the atmosphere of the room. The centerpieces were a combination of low boxes filled with green button mums, freesia and roses and tall lampshades on a vase with green orchids floating inside.

As many of you already know, the final season of The Hills premieres tonight! It’s a guilty pleasure… we know you’ll be watching it, not admitting it of course. Previews for the episodes were quite dramatic to say the least. Brody and Kristin breakup, Audrina has a new boyfriend and of course, Heidi and Spencer continue their train wreck! Preview clips show Spencer yelling at Heidi’s family, Heidi crying (or trying to with her new plastic surgery) and Spencer slamming doors! This made me wonder… did they not see it coming? Did they not talk about their key morals and values before getting married? As we saw in the past episodes, Heidi wanted kids and Spencer did not, this was discovered AFTER they were married.
Many pre-marriage topics seem like no brainers. However, just because YOU are sure of what you want, doesn’t mean you have necessarily discussed it out loud with your fiancé, and most importantly, agreed on it. So before you get married there are a few questions you should ask your fiancé or even yourself to avoid a Spidey disaster! If you can be on the same page about the most important base issues and morals that you have, there’s no doubt that you’ll have an amazing marriage and a long lasting happy relationship where you can work through all of your little disagreements.
1.) Do you want kids and how will your raise them? Reality TV reminds us, this is a very important question. Ask your fiancé specifically what he or she wants. There’s a big difference between having one child and having four. This will also lead to the question to who will raise them? Are you prepared to stay at home and take care of them? If not, would you be comfortable with your husband watching them or leaving them at a daycare while you work?
2.) Where do we stand financially? Where you stand financially may be ever changing. That’s why this is such an important question. You may be ok with where you stand now. But what if things changed? Are you ok with having less money than you currently have? If not, what will you do to ensure that it doesn’t happen? The greatly feared, yet uncommonly asked question regarding the pre-nup should also be discussed. It’s uncomfortable but now’s the time to get it out of the way. Also consider what the circumstances would be of you or your fiancé staying at home and if you would both be ok with that.
3.) If one of you got a career opportunity elsewhere, would you move? Maybe you are happily nestled in a beautiful home right now with tons of friends and family nearby or perhaps you are adventurous travelers who thrive on new and exciting places to live. Either way, if the opportunity to move ever came up you need to talk about if and when you would be willing to change your living location.
4.) What’s your definition of being successful? Success means different things to different people. It could mean driving a fabulous car, having a steady job and a beautiful home. It could also mean, being healthy, having children and getting lots of time off. Make sure you know what your definition is as well as your fiancés’.
5.) Why are we getting married? This is similar to one of those job interview questions that may have you stumbling at first. For example: What are your best attributes? It’s not that you don’t have any. It’s just hard to answer questions like this about yourself sometimes. Jot down a list of some specific reasons why you are getting married. This should make you feel confident and happy about your future marriage and future decisions together.
