This past weekend we packed up our candelabras and headed to Banff for a beautiful white wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Greg and Allison Davis.
We designed the wedding to be simple yet elegant, we wanted to use the space, as it is a stunning room, so we decided to go with simple decor and lighting that would play into the room and the view of the mountains. We used shades of white, white lighting and candle light to create the romantic atmosphere in the mountains.
This is the set up for the ceremony. We used our candelabras and lined the runner with various shades of white rose petals. Even though the sun was still out we set up the lighting for added effect.
The greenery was added to bring a little of the outside in.
For the reception we kept it simple, white with shades of white in the flowers, the head table was raised and we used the candelabras for the table centre pieces. We projected the couples initials on the rear wall for that added touch of whimsy.
The view from the podium, we brought in the floor lighting to accent the stone features in the room.
For the first dance we “served” 32 inch sparklers on silver platters to the guests and had them surround the dance floor.
